NATURAL BELLE'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Natural Belle’s role in the contract:
Natural Belle commits to providing its client-patient all services agreed on the contract and at the timing agreed. We will use the human team and technical equipment ideal for each of the services provided. The price of these services is subject to change until the contract is finalized. The contract is finalized when Natural Belle receives the initial deposit and issues an invoice. By issuing an invoice Natural Belle accepts the contract and the date of issuance of such invoice is considered the starting date of the contract.
- Natural Belle’s duties as a cosmetic plastic surgery center:
Natural Belle is a brand and belongs to the UNIDAD QUIRURGICA DE LOS ALPES (UQLA) LTDA, a health service provider validated with record no. 110010625801 by the Secretaria de Salud de Bogota and certified by the quality standards ISO 9001 since 2005 with code No. 3159-1. Medical services will be provided by surgeons and anesthesiologists who act under independent contractor agreements. They are supported by nursing and administrative staff that belongs to UQLA’s payroll. UQLA’s and its subcontractor’s duties are to serve as a medium and are not committed to a result. This implies that Natural Belle is committed to providing suitable professionals and environments that allow obtaining a result that involves a cosmetic improvement without a commitment to the result. If after performing the medical procedure, the goal is not met, Natural Belle can only be held legally responsible if it is demonstrated that Natural Belle abandoned the client-patient, it failed to diligently use its scientific knowledge or it failed to provide the patient with the appropriate treatment in spite of knowing that it was the appropriate one.
Natural Belle will provide the client-patient all the necessary advice and instructions pertinent to the patient’s case. If the client-patient refuses to follow these instructions and his/her refusal causes damage or loss due to lack of personal care, disobedience or negligence, Natural Belle does not take responsibility.
- Medical Information provided by the patient:
When you provide information regarding your medical history to Natural Belle you automatically authorize us to use it with medical purposes. This information will be treated as confidential. Natural Belle does not take responsibility if the information on the medical history is not truthful and complete. None of the information provided for treatment purposes will be used in the future without your written consent.
- Payment Method
After agreeing on the type of plastic surgery and the date to be performed an obligatory 30% advanced deposit is necessary. The payment can be done via credit card or wire transfer. The remaining amount is paid in Colombia by cash or credit card. By sending the signed contract via fax, the client-patient confirms that he/she understands the terms and conditions. Cancellations should be done a maximum of 14 days prior to the surgery date. If you change the date of the surgery less than 14 days prior to the date agreed, an extra $250 will be charged to your final invoice.
- Reimbursement Policy
The payment received in advance insures such services as transportation, hotel, clinic, anesthesiologist, surgeons etc. If those services are used, this money will cover part of the final costs. This money will not be reimbursed. If due to an event of force majeure (an event that can not be prevented or foreseen) a patient can not travel to Colombia during the dates agreed, this money will be considered part of the payment for a rescheduled service. Events of force majeure must be supported and documented, if a force majeure can not be demonstrated, no money will be reimbursed or considered as future payment.
- Other Instances
The client-patient is responsible for arriving in a timely manner to Colombia
for the surgery. Natural Belle does not take responsibility for airline
delays, immigration or emigration problems or patient’s visa or any
other documentation problems. Even so, Natural Belle will try its best
to help the patient solve any of these problems if they occur.
Natural Belle does not take responsibility for unexpected events that generate additional costs not previously stipulated in the contract and that being out of our control can not be foreseen or avoided.
In the event that Natural Belle changes the date or reservation of services, we guarantee prompt communication of such changes; and in accordance with the patient we will reschedule a date for future treatment. Reimbursement of money or non-monetary compensation is a possibility. If the client-patient does not agree with the solution we provide and in a case where the problem is imputable to Natural Belle, full reimbursement is possible.
